Animation, Digital Image Mapping, Graphic Design - All custom services are billed at $45 per hour.
Associations & Clubs - Associations, like the Pacific Coast Horse Association, and other organizations may display their event schedules on Horse Plaza at no charge.
Banner Advertising - This is an advertising panel on the top right corner of the screen. It is 300 pixels wide by 60 pixels high. It alternates with panels from other advertisers, with a maximum of ten. This type of advertising is ever-present. No matter what page within the Horse Plaza Mall a client goes to, this marquee will always be at the top of the page. Each panel is billed at $250 per month. This does not include artwork. We can design the banner for you at $50.00 per banner.
Business Card Ads - Just send us your business card. We'll even scan it for you, at no charge. Business cards will be displayed within our "Business Card Directory", which is directly accessible from our home page. Each card also includes one link. This could be your hours of business, the back our your card, a picture, products, map, etc. Each business card ad is billed at $120 per year.
Classified Ads - These ads may be entered by anyone visiting the classified ad page, and has something for sale related to the horse industry. You can freely edit your own ad, as needed. There are no photos in the free listing. The classified ads will be displayed within our "Advertising Directory" under "Classified Advertising". There is also a button on the home page for direct access. If you would like a picture to go along with your free classified listing, just send the picture, along with $25. This covers the cost of professionally scanning your picture, and publishing it for a full year. If your item sells, you still own the spot for the balance of the year. Go ahead and edit your ad for another item you want to sell! Have Fun! If you need an additional picture scanned for the next item, it is only $10. Remember to provide us with enough ad information to associate your picture with your ad.
Conferences (Forum) / Chat Rooms - Add a conference to your site. This will allow you to have your own moderated, or non-moderated, conference (forum) that is unique to your site. Each conference (forum) has a monthly charge of $50, and there is no setup fee.
Counter - Add a counter to any page you want. This will appear at the bottom of your page, just like the Horse Plaza's Home Page. Each counter has a monthly charge of $10.
Digital Photography - We can shoot your photos for you, using our advanced digital equipment. Pictures are $25 each, shot at our location. Special field rates are available.
Display Advertising - This type of advertising is for products and manufacturers information. Display advertising is page type ads that can be made up of text and/or pictures. These ads will be within our "Product Mall". Each display ad is billed at a flat rate monthly fee based upon the number of pages, plus a one time $5,00 set up charge. This type of advertising also includes one free email account. Any additional photos that need to be scanned are additional and cost $15.00 per photo.
Domain Name Registration - We will register your name on the internet. This means you will have an internet address like Horse Plaza (http://www.horseplaza.com/horseplaza). If your business name is "Our Tack Shop", you could have a name like http://www.ourtackshop.com. This, of course, is subject to availability. We will do the name search for you, register the name, and do the network setup for you. The fee for this service is $140, and includes the name registration with Internic, mapping the network through the service provider to the Horse Plaza site, and mail exchange records. Additionally, you will be responsible for an annual fee of $35, following the second year, to Internic (the domain name registration entity).
E-Mail Accounts - You can have your own Horse Plaza e-mail accounts. Give your customers an email account name with some real meaning to your business. All sites hosted include 1 E-mail account. Additional accounts are available. Contact us for pricing.
Marquee Ads - This is a sentence, or phrase, that is placed in the scrolling marquee area at the top left corner of the screen. This area may shared with up to ten other advertisers. This type of advertising is ever-present. No matter what page within the Horse Plaza Mall a client goes to, this marquee will always be at the top of the page. Each phrase is billed at $50 per month.
Marquee Ads (Individual) - This is a sentence, or phrase, that is placed in a scrolling marquee on your own page. Every time your page is loaded, your own private moving sign will be displayed. Each marquee is billed at $25 per year. Remember to send us the text you want displayed in your marquee.
New Products Showcase - The New Products Showcase is an area where new products from any of our Display Advertisers may be posted. Whenever you release a new product, send us a picture and information pertaining to this product. We'll post it here and provide a link directly your display pages. The New Products Showcase is on the top of the Horse Plaza's Home Page. Most importantly, this service is free to all of Horse Plaza's Display Advertisers.
Photo Ads - Just send us a photo with any pertinent information. We'll scan it for you, at no charge. The classified photo ads will be displayed within our "Advertising Directory" under "Photo Advertising". There is also a button on the home page for direct access. You should take the picture in the early morning or late afternoon (makes for better lighting). If you include your email address we will set the ad up for direct auto-replies to you. Remember, there is a 30 word maximum. Each photo ad is billed at $35 for one year. There is no setup charge (free). Additional photos may be added to a linked page for $10 per scan and no additional monthly fee.
Retail On-Line Store - Build an online retail store, like Tack Warehouse. Each store built has a base rate of $3,500 for point of sale/shopping cart services plus set-up and scanning. Inventory must be scanned and include data entry of descriptions and prices. We will contract these services, if needed.
Scanning - Send us your pictures and we'll scan them for you. Our scanning rates are $15 per picture. We do not recommend black and white photos.
Shockwave - Add Macromedia's Shockwave to your site to enhance the quality of your site. Visit http://www.circley.com , http://www.horseplaza.com/coolgrip/ or http://www.missrodeocalifornia.com/. Set-Up & Design $500.00 in addition to regular set-up fees.
Search Engine Registration - We will register your company with 200 search engines, allowing users on the World Wide Web to use key words to find your business. The charge for this is $300.
Text Entry - Text can be entered at the rate of $15 / page, whether typed or OCR scanned.
Trainer Bios - Trainer bios will be displayed within our "Advertising Directory" under "Trainer Biographies". There is also a button on the home page for direct access. Each trainer bio is billed at $10 per month, plus a one time $50 set up charge. This will include all text. Any additional photos that need to be scanned are additional and cost $10.00 per photo.
Video - We can provide full motion video services. This is a great way to market products, sell horses, promote trainers, etc. We charge $125 to convert your VHS or Hi-8 tape. This video will be offered in both Microsoft Video, and Apple QuickTime formats. We can also shoot your videos for you. Call for a quote.

The Horse Plaza Advantage

The main page of all sites within the Horse Plaza mall links back to the main Horse Plaza page or product mall. This encourages visitors to go to other sites within the Horse Plaza mall. Each advertiser brings people to their site through their niche markets. Combining the traffic from all advertisers efforts effectively increases the traffic to all sites within Horse Plaza. Additionally Horse Plaza provides visitors with numerous reasons to return; chat rooms, free classifieds, event coverage, free products, industry news, a link directory to over 1000 horse related sites and more. These services would be costly for each individual advertiser to maintain. Horse Plaza has contracted for exclusive banners on various horse directories on Yahoo, a major search engine. Our banners appear at the top of the horse "Breeders" section and the "Tack and Equipment" sections. Horse Plaza also advertises in major trade publications including Tack and Togs, Horse & Rider, Equestrian Connection, Ropers Sports News and many other related magazines. This helps draw additional traffic to the Horse Plaza Mall.

Artwork & Preparation - Please send us any text and camera ready artwork you would like prepared. Please include payment information using VISA, MasterCard, or check (make payable to Horse Plaza). Please surround pictures with cardboard to protect them, and write "DO NOT BEND" on the envelope.
